Academics at Al Irshad
To ensure consistent academic progress, the school conducts two term examinations in October and March, along with mid-term exams in August and December. As per CBSE guidelines, formative assessments are carried out throughout the academic year. Promotion is based on overall performance, and progress review meetings are held after each term. Attendance for these meetings is compulsory for all parents
The school places great importance on continuous teacher development. Faculty members regularly participate in training programs, workshops, and seminars to enhance their teaching skills. The academic year begins on 1st June and follows a structured schedule. The school functions from Monday to Saturday, from 9:40 AM to 4:00 PM, with well-planned periods for learning. The school remains closed during Onam holidays, Christmas holidays, and other public holidays as per the academic calendar.
The school follows the syllabus prescribed by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The curriculum focuses on conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and practical knowledge. It is designed to meet the learning needs of students at every stage. Prescribed textbooks and workbooks are made available through the school store for the convenience of students.
